Q.

Hi, My baby is 9+ months old. I give him khichdi, dal-rice, daliya, fruits, etc., to eat. But after 2-3 bites, he feels like vomiting. What should I do?

A. Please prepare the food in good hot water and offer the same in warm condition which will be helpful to digest easily. Dont offer all the different variety food at a time. Please choose the best one where the child will take the food interestingly, offer related food items.

Q. My baby is 13+ months. he used to eat khichdi, daliya, oats, vegetable rice, etc in thick pureed/mashed form. Recently he has started showing interest in family food like dal rice, roti dal, chilla etc. But he eats them in very less quantity like 5-6 bites not more than that. If I try to give him anything in mashed form like he used to eat earlier after that he does not eat at all. What should i do? Does eating 5-6 bites of food fills his tummy? Earlier when he used to eat in pureed/mashed form he eats around half or 3 fourth katori. how should i make my baby eat well? how much minimum of a roti or dal rice should a 13+ month baby boy be eating?
