Q.

Hi my baby is 7 months old.Her bowel movements have been very irregular 3-4 days once since I have started solids for her. I am giving her apple puree and homemade cerelac and breast milk. please suggest what should I do.

A. Infant commonly become constipated when they start eat foods that their bodies cannot yet digest properly.. So offer well cooked, soft, semi solid food. Add veggies n fruits in weaning food. Give sips of water after giving solids. yg

A. Hi mom Constipation is common in babies less than one year. So no need to worry. Once u start with the solids, also start giving water to ur baby. This will help to get relief from constipation. Give papaya, pera puree to help baby Pass out stool daily.
