Q.

Hi, My baby is 6 months old. She has taken her Hepb vaccine in the first month, Pentavalent vaccines in the 2 , 3 and 4th months. Now she was given Hep b again... is it okay? because pentavalent contains Hep b already right? . Will there be any effect?

A. Hi , thanks for the answer, I don't know if it was included in the pentavalent vaccines so I got her a 3rd dose today... now I am confused... if it will have any side effect ?

A. there are two doses of hepatitis b to be given so if your child has received 3 roses at one and half month followed by two other dose is given no requirement of dose is given at 6 months

Q. For my baby 6th week vaccine i had opted for Pentavalent vaccine+ IPV (i.e. Pentavac+Poliovac). Is it okay if i move to Hexavalent vaccine (i.e. easy 6) for 10th and 14th week considering it reduces the number of injections? Also as per vaccination chart HepB is not there for 10th and 14th week. but are there any pentavalent vaccine with IPV and excluding HepB?
