Q.

Hi my baby is 6 months old, he had fever few days back and developed some red rashes on his face. now the fever has gone but the rashes is spreading to his whole body. My pediatrician said that its an after effect of viral fever and to do nothing as it will go away on its own. Can anyone help me please

A. hello mother, post viral fever such rashes are common. There is no specific treatment for the rash. Apply Lacto callamine. Treatment should be aimed at the other symptoms.It is the other symptoms that may be of more concern. If other symptoms are mild then there is usually little to worry abou

A. You Start applying calamine lotion on to that area slowly gradually they are going to subside the rashes are due to heat in the body which must of course with the medicine that you are giving to the child so it’s definitely a good idea to go ahead with using calamine lotion
