Hi β¦my baby is 6 months nw n suddenly he has a fever of 100.4 β¦. I just gave him a drop of paracetamol π§ drop β¦.should I need to go to hospital π₯

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if the child is having fever you can give paracetamol along with cold sponging can be done and consult your doctor if the fever is coming again and again to rule out the cause

No Itβs a mild fever so it is not a drop of paracetamol you have to give you have to give about 5 to 10 drops of paracetamol to your child at one point of time and repeat it after six hours if the fever comes again and start doing cold sponging that will help in reducing the temperature
