hi, my baby is 5months old. we started feeding cereal recently but the problem is night time mid sleep he is crying suddenly and calming himself and sleeping

but why you have started giving semisolid food?
baby is too young.
please wait for one more month.
after completion of 6 months age, you can start giving semisolid food to your child.
as a child is crying ,I would suggest to apply Babyhug tummy roll on around navel of your child which gives instant relief in stomach pain.
