Hi my baby is 5months 16days old. My pediatrician told me to start solids. So, can I give sweet potato to my baby at this age?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. after five months you can start with some semi solid food and gradually you can introduce some sweet item also there is no problem for more information consult your doctor

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. hello if the doctor itself as advised to give solids then yes you can start and would be better to start with liquid based food to start with and start with simple vegetables puree which should be better like carrot and aslo sweet potatoes is safe to be given
