Hi my baby is 52 days old how to increase the weight .. now she is 3.5 kgs.. plz suggest me..

Mahima simoniyaGuardian of a 3 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. you should take protein rich diet such as harira (milk,cashew nuts, coconut crush,resins,makhana, jaggery,almonds)or laddoo made up of jageery ,soth,dryfruits,makhana,gond,kamarkas as it will help You in increasing breast milk and it will also provide nutrients to your baby so his weight will increase as we should take light food with protein rich diet.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to give only breastfeeding /milk to the child till completion of 6 months of age and before 6 months of age if you are giving any any type of outside food or complementary feeding it can cause digestion problem in the child. no need to give water also because breast milk contains 80% of water and water also is given after six months of age only. it is advisable to continue the the multi vitamin and supplement medicines given by your doctor

Can You please mention the birth weight of the child since you have not mentioned it I will just tell you a basic thing if your child gains a minimum of 3 to 400 g every month then as per doctors it’s a very healthy weight gain so you can take the birth weight of the child and calculate accordingly so you know whether this is correct weight or not
