Hi, my baby is 5 months old I'm giving her ragi along with breastmilk . from yesterday I found red colour dots in her poop whether it is blood or the undigested ragi . please find the attached photo for reference

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. it's, definitely not ragi.. it's advisable to feed complementary food after 6 months. Talk to baby’s doctor if there is blood in baby’s stool, but whether or not this requires an emergency visit would depend upon your child’s behavior.

Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby till 6 months completion. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
