hi my baby is 4 month old..she is not taking bottle feed at all. I usually breast feed and bottle feed by baby but from past few weeks she is refusing to take bottle..and takes it only when she is extremely hungry or at night, that too only 30 to 60 ml...I don't produce BM in required quantity. and now her weight is also not increasing... please suggest what to do

Milk is very important for babies specially in the initial days of life breast milk is very important and should be given exclusively till 5-6  months of age .
formula milk should be given only as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 as months of age stage 2  from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3 .
after otne year cows milk should be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk should be  used only after the completion of two years of age .

These things are considered normal with kids because you know what happens is when they take a breast feed they feel really very close to their mother and which is why they prefer taking a breastfeeding so you can continue breastfeeding the child otherwise you can start giving formula with the help of a spoon to the child.Write Your Answer Here
