Q.

Hi, My baby is 38 days old, initially weight not increased due to breastfeeding issues as my milk looks like watery content...Doctor said baby will increase weight in fatty milk or thick milk so that he suggested breastfeed milk plus formula milk for every feed following that till now...My question is there is any difference between watery milk or fatty milk still I found I have less supply of thick milk, due to this for every feed I pump out all watery milk out and make her drink fatty milk atlast...Kindly advice about my Lactation which is right or wrong.

A. hi yes mam,for weight gain ,it is good that your baby get hind milk (fat milk ) enough. so I advise you to feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well. as a nursing mother, please take homemade healthy and well blanaced diet. give massage to your child daily
