Q.

Hi my baby is 29days old today . I did a blood test to check her bilirubin level tdy and the result is Total bilirubin 11.1 mg/dl Or Direct bilurubin 0.72 . What does this mean Should i have to take her to the hospital ?

A. yes you must a this bilirubin is high. she may neeed more treatment. you must try to eat healthy, lots of fruit and stay hydrated. take enough sleep and no stress

It Does look like that your child is having jaundice it would be advisable to consult your paediatrician ones if needed they would guide you accordingly maybe you have to keep your child on phototherapy for about a day or two after that once the level decreases down your child will definitely get a discharge of
