hi, my baby is 26 months old..while pooping I can able to see some oil kinda thing come along with poop? does it cause any harm? do I need to visit my peadiatrician? please help me out

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if the child is two years into months all is having some mucus or any oily motion there may be some infections with better to consult your doctor for a proper guidance regarding this

Hi Sometimes it could be due to some kind of an infection in the body it is better to get it checked at least you’ll be sure about the reason behind it so it’s better as soon as you get time can you check with your doctor and if needed go for a stool test for further clarity
