Q.

Hi... my baby is 20 months old now.. what ever we tell she understands very well.. if she wants to ask anything.. she will ask in 1 letter (starting letter of the word). and she tries to tell something but we cannot understand.. is it normal at this age.

A. hi dear mom, it's absolutely normal. u try to communicate more & more with her gradually she start following u. take care..!!

A. yes it's very normal for proper fluent speech you need to wait till 3 years of age of the child to speak in complete sentences clearly and fluently if its not so then consult doctor to know if speech therapy is required.till that time keep interacting as much as possible in your spoken language and involve the child in language learning activities using audiovisual aids too. dont worry if other milestones are normal this will also be achieved in time at ktimes it may get delayed..there are variations in children by age for this. . .

A. Hello dear parent! Very normal. Communicate more with your child. Keep telling stories and sing and play together. Encourage your child to express and respond. Give a teaspoon of honey in the mornings for better health and speech. Limit the screen time. Be patient and persistent in your efforts. Good luck and take care.
