hi,, my Baby is 2 year old And he gets loose motion frequently after 3-4 days ..why it happens??

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. yes it's. given loose watery stools is considered normal in babies. Some amount of foam is due to gas along with poop u check for any foul smell or any change in color and consistency of poop. If only loose stool u can give zinc drops Z and D drops 1ml once a day and satchets of Econorm/ enterogermina/syp darolac or any other probiotics for 3 days. Give ORS Green color poop wid out any foul smell is ok and it s due to digestion process in baby so shall be normal on its own. Fever with pain in abdomen if present can b due to infection n needs a doctor consult soon
