Q.

Hi, my baby is 2 months old. He is not at all sleeping during day time even after warm bath or even after multiple feeds. Please help me on this. How should I make him to sleep.

A. Hi Doctor, his birth weight is 2.7 and now he is 3.8 as of November 27th. Is this normal?

A. Hello, your baby boy is 2 months old and he doesn’t sleep at day time so don’t worry if he is putting his weight properly and he sleeps well at night

A. for making the child sleep you can do the following things you can swaddle the child to make the child comfortable you can sing a song / lullaby you can use a cradle or swing you can go for a car ride with the child keeping the child on your shoulder you can walk briskly you can keep the child in between both the legs and gently swing the legs both sides. sleeping pattern gradually improves with increasing age of the child do not worry with increasing age it will totally improve

A. hi you should check it with your pediatrician for once. please offer plenty of breastfeeds . make sure your child get enough milk. burp your baby well after each feeding. give Massage to your child which will help to soothe your baby. keep the environment calm and dark while sleeping swaddle your baby well ,you may use Babyhug swaddle clothe for this. avoid distractions while sleeping.
