Q.

hi my baby is 2 months old and his weight is 4.2 kg is it fine? I breastfeed him but my relatives are suggesting using formula milk ..should I use formula milk?

A. if your milk is insufficient you can give Aptamil Gold Stage 1 formula milk dear . It contains prebiotics and HMO which are also present in breast milk. It boosts the immunity and also makes the gut strong and healthy. You should definitely give it a try…don't stop breastfeeding you can continue breastfeed along with formula.

See you have to calculate on the basis of a simple calculation the child should get 500 g in a month and if your child is gaining on top of the birth weight and this is the way it is that you are mentioning right now then it is very healthy do not give formula milk till your child is gaining well with your breastfeeding for at least six months you should exclusively breastfeed the child if you can manage that
