A. Gripe water is not recommended these days as most of them contain alcoholic ingredients which is not good for babies. Definitely it is not advisable to give gripe water on a regular basis. If ur baby has indigestion or colic issues then please consult with ur pediatrician and follow his advice on this. Babies can be crying for many reasons like when they want to sleep, when they are hungry or tired, when they feel insecure and need some comfort or when there is a stomach pain or reflux or due to colic pain or when their clothes get wet due to frequent peeing or when they struggle to poop or pass gas or have cold or other illness that's bothering them. You can try to identify which is bothering ur baby and act accordingly.. If it continues then u may consult with your pediatrician once.
