Hi , My baby is 2 months 20 days old. Due to insufficient breast milk , i starred giving lactogen1 since Saturday. He is passing stool (after feed) and he getting cough also.plz suggest

What if the stool is watery n green color. what kind of infection can be caused and is it risky.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. if the consistency of the stool is normal that is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency of the stool.
the frequency can vary for 4 to 5 times per day and sometimes the child wxill not pass stool for few days also.
also do no worry about colour and smell of the stool when sxtool consistency is semisolid to solid.
you have to meet the dr only if it is totally watery stool or it is hard stool or the child is having pain while passing the stool.
