Q.

hi...my baby is 1yr 2 mnth old ..he z lactose intolerant ..my doc advice me to give soya milk to him..but my child drink cow milk only he don't take soya milk..bcz of that he has digestion problem n do min 3-5 motion a day.. it's very difficult fr me to stop completely giving milk to him...so pls help..n suggest wat to do

A. hi your baby is 14 months old now it's better to confirm if he has lactose intolerance by stool examination for reducing sugars.if positive you may need to go for some alternative milk.soy milk or almond milk or coconut milk.but sometimes just reducing quantity of cow milk given also helps.

A. yes by stool examination we got to know he is lactose intolerant..but the problem is that he z nt giving up cow milk..so I want to know if I continue like this by giving him Normal cow milk will it make situation worse in future?
