Q.

Hi, my baby is 18 months old but she weighs only 8.45 kgs...giving her all the healthy and weight gains foods but her weight is increasing but she is super active. pls advise.

A. It is normal only. Few babies will be bigger and few will be small made. It depends on the genes too. Dont focus too much on increasing the weight of the baby. It is important that the baby must gain weight, but dont consider it as a criteria of a healthy baby. A healthy baby can be small, thin and lean too. Not all fat and big babies are healthy. Your baby is healthy as long as he/she is active and has a gradual weight gain.

A. As long as they're meeting developmental milestones, are alert and active, and are feeding well, you likely don't need to worry
