Q.
hi my baby is 18 days old. A pediatrician told me to go for metabolic screening and OAE hearing test for my baby, though he added it is not a compulsory test. should i get it done or not? Does anybody have their baby tested for above tests?

My daughter is of 13 days, same tests are suggested to us also, These are not mandatory and Does not guarantee any disease these are only screening tests and The reports will come as normal, so no need for the test. I have Cghs panel so all test are free for me ,but dr guided that these test are formalities unless there is a physical problem with baby .
