Q.

Hi, My baby is 16 weeks today. He weighed 3.25 at birth and 6.5 at 16 weeks. lately he was on 50th percentile and had dropped a little now. should I be concerned that he is not getting enough calories or so. Please suggest.

A. By five months of age the baby should be able to double the birth weight and your baby is almost there so you need not worry about it. Keep taking high-protein diet if you’re breast-feeding the baby as it will increase of baby’s weight too.Write Your Answer Here

A. hi babies weight gain depends on their birth weight usually they gain 250 to 500g per month so don't worry your child weighs normal. as per my opinion,if your child looks happy healthy and active, gains enough weight then no need to worry about anything
