Hi...my baby is 16 months old and having fever and vomiting from last 2 days..today is no fever and vomiting but having loose motions 4 to 5 times from morning and not eating anything even not taking ors...plzz suggest

A. Doctor have given zifi 50 readymix and ondem syrup for vomiting...can I give sacctik plus along with Zifi 50 ? Is there any need to give deworming tablet?

A. the child is suffering from acute gastroenteritis (either viral or bacterial) examination is needed by the doctor for need of antibiotics. can give probiotics like econorm / sporolac / enterogermina one to two times as per dr's recommendations. give easily digestible food. ors to be given if loose motion is in more quantity to prevent dehydration and ensure adequate glucose level in the body. give syp emeset 5ml for vomiting
