Q.
hi, my baby is 15 month old but he speaks very less. most of the time he plays without saying any words even if we try to make him say any words he doesn't respond and only talks when he is in his mood. is this ok for a 15 month baby. how can we make him talk more.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. for proper fluent speech you need to wait till 3 years of age of the child to speak in complete sentences clearly and fluently if its not so then consult doctor to know if speech therapy is required.till that time keep interacting as much as possible in your spoken language and involve the child in language learning activities using audiovisual aids too. dont worry if other milestones are normal this will alsosaaop be achieved in time at times it may get delayed..there are variations in children by age for this. . .
