Q.

Hi My baby is 13 months old. He had loose motion for 3 weeks when he was getting first tooth. Now he is getting 2 more teeth and again suffering from loose motion. We are giving zinc and procillus oral susp after consulting the doctor... does it happen that babies get loose motion every time they are teething?? is it because of teething or there could be any other problem?? I'm really worried...please let me know.

A. the process of arrest of teeth in the baby can start anytime from 6 months to 1 year since this is a physiological process that we will not be getting any loose motions it is only coincidental
