Q.

hi my baby is 12.5 months old now.. I have seen many jounerals that he should be able to point objects.. but he is not pointing at all.. also he used to wave goodbye to his father, but now that is not also happening.. he just raise his hands to say bye.. should I be worried about this..

A. Oh That's not very worrying Now 1 year old baby start Pointing things. I think your baby might want to achieve a new activity. Waving goodbye is not to much. Some babies Cannot Wave goodbye in this Stage Like my one

A. Hello good evening !! Yes by one year babies start pointing at things,persons and try to speak,babble, understand our commands, expressions and react accordingly . Check if the baby understands the commands like come here,don't go,give,take ,naming things by showing ,giving eye contact ,holding the things. If you observe any delay,red flags ,consult Developmental Paediatricians for assessment ,don't delay.
