hi,my baby is 1 year old, he is suffering from cold and cough,I have shown him to doctor,giving him prescribed medicine,giving nasal drop as well. but his nose getting blocked very often and he is irritated. please suggest is there some home remedy to cure this? and what to do to reduce coghing

A. Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful. For cold you cxan give drops wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times xdue to climate changes and temperature variations . If fever is present give paracetamol.
