hi my baby is 1 month old she was born premature with weight 1.54 kg now she's 2.15 . my baby suffering from cold , fever any home remedies pls suggest ? and how to increase baby weight as well pls suggest.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. you have to give only breastfeeding /milk to the child till completion of 6 months of age and before 6 months of age if you are giving any type of outside food or complementary feeding it can cause digestion problem in the child.
no need to give water also because breast milk contains 80% of water and water also is given after six months of age only.
it is advisable to continue the the multi vitamin and supplement medicines given by your doctor.
give nasal saline drops for cold

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello baby gaining a minimum of six hundred grams to 800 grams per month means baby is getting sufficient breast milk and is absolutely nothing to worry and for cold you can be using basal drops or instant cold releif rub from Babyhug whichbcan help and also safe too
