Hi my baby has completed 18 months and he is still just saying mumma papa nothing else. i m bit worried now atleast he should learn some small words like dudu dada nani etc pls suggest wat to do

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. Every baby is different and so as their development milestones. Some babies are late speakers and that is fine. You keep speaking to him in small and clear sentences. Encourage him to speak instead of using gestures. All family members should converse with him in short and simple sentences, especially about his toys.
