Father of a 4 yr old girl3 years ago
Q.

Hi.. My baby girl is now 10 months old. Her birth weight was 3.0 kg. After 6 months her weight was 6 kg. From 6 months onwards we started solids along with breastfeed. But after that her weight is not gaining. Till now her weight is around 6.1 - 6.5 kg. We have consulted a pediatrician when she was around 8 months. A complete blood check was done and found normal. She is active. But the problem is that weight is not gaining. I would like to know your opinion on this. Thank you.

A. ragi is rich in many nutrients and hence its regular consumption can boost the immunity of the babies. Moreover, the high nutrition level helps the babies in gaining good weight. Rich in dietary fibers, calcium, iron, proteins and Vitamin B1 and B2, ragi proves to be the superfood for the babies.
