VishruthaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hi momma dont worry.. babies feed frequently because they have a tiny stomach.
Breastmilk is generated on demand supply basis and the more you feed baby, the better milk supply. Even pumping gives stimulation and increases breastmilk production. Pump a few times a day after feeding baby. Try to have galactagogues like Galact powder three times with milk, lots of roasted garlic I everything, Shatavari, fenugreek seeds cooked with rice, poppy seeds or khus khus, sesame seeds, palak leaves, dill leaves, methi leaves, fennel or saunf, Soaked garden cress (aliv/aalvi/halim), gourds especially ridge gourd, ghee, whole grains, such as brown rice, quinoa, oats, dry fruits such as walnuts, flax seeds, almonds, hazelnuts, dried figs, tofu, paneer, butter, and whole curds, jaggery. Eat healthy diet with lots of citrus fruits, leafy greens, and vegetables. Drink atleast 3 litres of water, and other liquids like fruit juices, coconut water, soups daily. Babies cry for various reason, like when they are hungry, bored, hot or cold temperatures, dirty diaper, uncomfortable clothing, hair around toe, gassy pain, mosquito bites etc.
Try to soothe baby accordingly figuring out the cause.
Keep a cool and calm environment at night and keep lights and noise level low. Dont talk or interact with baby when he wakes up at night. Keep day time well lit and play or do lot of fun games.
