Q.

Hi my baby evaan is now 5 months old . At birth his weight was 3.480 kgs now as he’s turned 5 months his weight is just 6.440 kgs He’s failed to gain expected weight .. Kindly help what can I do about it

A. That weight gain is pretty good. By five months of age the baby should double the birth weight and your baby is almost there. Mother should take high-protein diet as it will improve the quality and quantity of breastmilk and will also help in weight gain of the babyWrite Your Answer Here

A. My baby doesn’t feed well .. Just about a minute or two when active When he’s sleepy he feeds for 10 mins. Any advices or suggestion as to get him to feed well Reason behind not feeding .?

A. hi babies weight gain depends on their birth weight usually they gain 500grams per month. so don't worry your child weighs normal. feed your child on each breast atleast 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well which helps to increase your child's Weight. give massage to your child daily maintain good hygiene.
