Q.

Hi, My baby boy is 2 month 12 days and his weight is 6.9 kg. His birth weight was 2.7 kg. Please let me know if his weight gain is good or over ?

A. Hello mom that is quite on the higher side , so is he formula fed baby ? because this generally is the main cause of it , babies monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg and by age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight

A. It’s an exceptionally healthy variant that your child is having the doctor say the maximum variant a child should have in a month is a 1 kilo kilogram and minimum 500 g so your child is getting much better than that it is much more on the heavier side actually if you look at it
