Hi , My baby boy is 11 months old , from 6 months onwards he is getting mucus from nose frequently even he don't have cold ..we have asked doctor regarding this he said it is common for the some people...may i know the reason why it will happen

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhcfalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .

Try alternative therapy like homeopathic or Ayurveda
Give indirect steam inhalation
Give adequate feeding
BM contains natural antibiotics to cure infection like cold cough naturally
Take a good care of your baby
Burp well after evey feeding by holdimg your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
