Q.

hi.. my 9 month old baby's naval is protruding outwards so i consulted a pedriatician he told me it's hernia... and it will automatically go on its own when the baby turns around 1.5 yrs.. but if it does not go on its own is it risky??

A. you should not worry you should follow your doctor's advice and wait and watch keep good hygiene and give a good healthy diet to your baby for good growth . .

A. Yes Hernia can definitely be risky certain times kids do I have to undergo a surgery to get get rid of it or in order to deal with it so if you are scared you can always take another opinion from second paediatrician so that at least you’ll be clear about the thought and if for any medication can help you then the doctor can also advise you with the same
