hi my 5 months old girl baby it's been 10days still she didn't go for motion is it normal

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggesfted by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medicationsg are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. Yes it’s normal but you will have to want to get a check with the doctor because 10 days is quite on the higher side so it’s better that you go ahead with giving a laxative to the child as of nowWrite Your Answer Here
