Q.

Hi, My 5 months old baby legs shiver momentarily if he is excited, making noises and pushing something away with his legs. For example when he lies on the bed and tries to push my hands or body away with legs, I've seen his legs shiver for a few seconds. Is it normal? Please suggest

A. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency. kindlyc continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startlec reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia.
