hi my 5 month old is always pooping in green now a days, is it anything to be concerned of?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician1 Year agoA. Nothing to worry if the consistency happens f the motion is normal and if you feel the stools are watery frothy and foul smelling then give zinc drops to the baby

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the foocd reacts with the digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool. the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor.
