Q.

Hi... My 5.5month old baby has fever and doctor has prescribed matrax drops but forgot the dosage.. Baby is 7.5kgs...can someone suggest the dosage?

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose ccan be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. andc you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
