hi my 4year old is getting fever from yesterday have given her Cronin syrup plz suggest

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 4 years old and she is having a fever since yesterday so give her syrup ibugesic plus 7 ml three times a day and plenty of water

Fever is a response of the body fto any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
