Q.

Hi my 4 year son is having stomach flu .. We hv been giving him pcm strip n pro biotic tabs .. Bt even after taking pcm maybe 4 5 hrs later suddenly he gets shivering n temperature all of sudden rise to 103 c or 104... We dong know how to control dis temp.. Dr has also prescribed meftal p if temp goes beyond 103... We also wipe his body with damp clothes.. My ans is how to control dis temp ? What should I give to control it..

A. Hello my dear parent! There will be some extreme discomfort till the infection is out of your child’s system. Complete the course of treatment as it was by the doctor and there will definitely be a gradual improvement in the condition. Try giving a sponging frequently to reduce the severity of fever. Keep Babyhug medicine spoon handy
