Q.
Hi, My 3 months old baby girl has suddenly started pooping after every feed which is the combination of both formula and breast feed. She is pooping in small quantity almost 9-10 times a day, her poop is not watery but more like curdled milk. She has also suddenly started putting the hand in her mouth and chewing the bottle nipple. Is it normal or do we need to do something about it?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is quite natural that small babies need passing stool 8 to 10 times per day it will be watery also since there will be persistence of gastrocolic reflex and it is normal

Some babies have problem in digesting formula milk. And if your baby is taking both then you have to make some changes in your diet plan because babies digestion depends on mothers diet. You can also give entrogermina drops it is probiotic medicine and very effective in curing loose motion. Still baby doesn’t get relief then consult with your doctor
