Hi , my 2 months old had blocked nose and she was very irritable. So Doctor gave atarax .5 ml twice for three days . I gave but later found out how bad this medication can be. Should I do something else now. ? I am really worried.

So what is your source of understanding that this medicine is bad that you have not stated clearly because as far as I know this medicine is completely safe and good to be given during the time of allergies basic allergies can be covered up with this oral medicine so I don’t see anything wrong with it and if you’re visiting a doctor then you should trust your doctor rather than listening or reading something online and believing it over what your doctor has to suggest
