Q.

Hi my 2 month baby didn’t urinate for entire night 8 hours , she is on exclusively breastfeeding I fed her at 11.30 pm and next feed was at 4pm as she is in deep sleep she didn’t take much fed Is this okay for few nights to go without peeing She does urinate more than 6 times in day time

A. It is not uncommon for breastfed babies to go longer periods without urinating, especially during deep sleep. However, it is important to monitor your baby's urine output and if you notice a significant decrease or no urine output for over 24 hours, it is recommended to seek medical attention. In the meantime, continue to offer frequent feedings and monitor your baby's overall behavior and hydration status.

A. Hello mom that is fine no issues as such , because she if she is urinating well enough once she is awake & taking her feed well then no issues
