Hi, my 1.5 yr baby boy is having a severe runny nose. The doctor told me to use levocotrizine 2.5 mg and montelucast 4mg per 5ml, in the evening dosage of 5ml. is it safe to use 5 ml for a 1.5yr old baby for one day ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. this dose is given for 15kg child. is safe it is important to follow the instructions and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical procedures not prescribed / guided by the doctor. take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification
