Q.

my son is 7 years old he was having severe cough and congestion doctor prescribed nebulizer, maxtra 5ml and grilinctus bm 5ml thrice a day. his condition became a little better. after 3 days we went to the doctor he said that congestion is still there and prescribed medrol 4mg twice a day to my son. I was reading about the medicine and it says that the medicine is a steroid and used for certain kind of cancers. i am really worried. can someone please suggest if I should give medrol 4mg or not please help

A. Mam very honestly telling you that what doctors tell you they have better knowledge about it what we read online can be sometimes very scary but that news or the information that you read is not verified so I don’t think so you should believe it but of course in case of doubt you can crosscheck it with your doctor then continue with the medicine otherwise don’t give
