Q.

Hi moms, My baby just turned 1 year old and she is not very interested in solid foods. She mainly eats Cerelac twice a day, a little rice with ghee for lunch, and takes formula in between. I’m worried she is not eating enough solids. Is this normal at this age? How can I improve her interest in solid foods? Any tips or experiences would really help 🙏

A. Namaste Mom, As she is one year and above now, would recommend that you avoid giving formula milk and even cerelac reason been 1. she is now old enough to be introduced to usual family foods, 2. they are very filling in nature

A. Cerelac if it is Home mate you can give it one time in the day if you’re bringing it from the market please stop giving it it’s not healthy try to make different varieties of food that you can offer to the child different variations consistency of the food all these things you can work upon that’s only going to help
