Q.

Hi moms, did anyone with hypothyroidism/ pcos have low breastmilk supply? I am hypothyroid for the last 15yrs and also having pcos. I feel my milk supply is less despite feeding baby and taking lactonic granules. Will pcos or hypothyroidism be the reason for low supply?

A. Not necessarily a lot of women who have hypothyroidism they can feed the child comfortably as they get sufficient amount of milk because the diet is good eating well milk protein plenty of fluids and course of protein which diet with lactic granules should help but in all the cases patient granules does not help and sometimes genetically also women cannot make sufficient amount of milk but that is not necessarily associated with thyroid or PCOS or PCOD
