Q.

Hi mam/sir I have 3 and half months old baby. I am on breastfeeding. Is it safe to take Covid vaccine? can I still breastfeed her after vaccination? If I can take which is better vaccine Covaxin or covidshiled? After taking vaccination if get fever still can I breastfeed her?

A. hello mam yes you can take vaccine and breastfeed your baby after that... both the vaccines a re good you can take any... if choice is there you can opt for covaxin due to low cases of fever after this vaccine

A. Hello mom According to new studies government has given permission to lactating mother to get vaccinated. And yes it is totally safe to get vaccinated if you are breastfeeding mother. Both the vaccines are equally effective so you can choose anyone. And if you are having fever and not taking any medication for that then you can feed your baby
